Das La Rougeanne hielt, was es im Internet versprach. Das Landhaus mit seinen fünf geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern, der Salon, die Orangerie und nicht zuletzt der Pool (den wir abends gerne bei der durchschnittlichen Tagestemperatur von 36°C nutzten) erfüllten vollends unsere Erwartungen.Die Besitzerin, Madame Monique Glorieux, war eine perfekte Gastgeberin. Obwohl wir uns für den Aufenthalt im Department Languedoc bestens vorbereitet hatten, waren ihre Tipps um ein Vielfaches wertvoller, als die Highlights der diversen Reiseführer.
La Rougeanne is thoroughly charming B&B, about a 20 min drive from Carcassonne. We loved the breakfast in their L'Orangerie and great views of the Pyrenees in the distance. The guest room was very spacious and had a nice loft area, that would have been perfect if you were traveling with children. If you want to escape the tourist throngs in Carcassonne, I would highly recommend this delightful house in the small village of Moussoulens. The Michelin Guide review is spot on!
Lovely comfortable room, very authentic and quaint. Monique was a fantastic knowledgeable host and gave great insider tips on our plans. Breakfast underneath the trees in the garden was always a beautiful start to the day and being able to cool off in the great infinity pool after a hot day was the icing on the cake!

We stayed here for 5 nights and ate here on the 1st evening. Lovely filet mignon dinner and starter and dessert. A great way to start our stay at this lovely B&B.
Accueil excellent . Nous avons ete accueilli dans un cadre magnifique . La chambre est spacieuse. Un séjour inoubliable.
