Very good find just on the outside of the bustling crowds downrown Nerja. Overlooking Plaza Espana, just back from the crowds at the Balcon. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, experienced waitress that spoke no English, but communication was not a problem. Middle of the road pricewise, decent portions and good flavours. I had the rack of pork ribs, good bbq sauce that wasn’t too sweet, like you get in a lot of restaurants. Prawns and angus hamburger were commented on as being very good too. Vegetables a bit overcooked, might be my preference just. Cheesecake for dessert was excellent. Wish we would have found this place earlier in the holidays, definitely a recommendation if you are looking for a quiet place very centrally.

A lovely spot to watch the world go by in Plaza Espana. The super friendly and welcoming owners Paqui and Antonio do everything themselves and make you feel at home. The food, wines and service are excellent. The meat and fish is cooked over charcoal which makes all the difference to the taste and we also really enjoy the tasty baked potatoes that come alongside. Great place to just have a sharing plate of jamon or queso which come with lovely tomato bread and match the wines perfectly. Highly recommended.

We popped in for lunch and were not disappointed. We opted for lighter options which were very good. Cesar Salad was particularly nice. The service was friendly and considerate. Well worth visiting.

Amazing meal in charming traditional restaurant, food was delicious and some of the best in Andalusia. The meat so tasty, seasoned and tender. We loved it, and the Rioja was fantastic!

Visited following a recommendation and it was excellent food good quality,nicely cooked and beautiful presentation,will go back before we leave .
