Our family have been coming to this wonderful place for 10 years, since my wife was pregnant. Dejan, the owner, is incredibly warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and cosy. We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed the food is always great and the prices are very reasonable. The homemade cakes are amazing! Being a passionate family man, Dejan has created a very family friendly environment. This family run restaurant is where we always have a morning coffee or eat lunch when we're in Cheltenham, because it's a lovely change from corporate chains that lack any atmosphere. La Scala has a wonderful ambience. We'll keep coming back! (Unfortunately, due to a...

We ordered garlic bread to share and were served with three pieces of sliced brown supermarket type bread on a plate drizzled with balsamic and pesto. I felt insulted. Then we waited and we waited and we waited and we waited (an hour? before finally receiving four bowls of microwaved pasta. Mine was supposed to have mozzarella as a main component but I saw no evidence of it. The coffees were a cross between muddy ditchwater and engine oil. The owner is not deserving of the polite silence we maintained today and should hang his head in shame. We were the only people there.

We decided to stop for a quick lunch while shopping. We arrived early and it wasn't very busy, so there were plenty of tables available. The menu had a variety of sandwiches, paninis, pasta, and salads to choose from. I opted for the king prawn salad and it was fantastic. Although the service was a bit slow, the fresh and delicious garlic prawns and salad made the wait worth it. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

Formerly The Pasty Shop. They still sell pasties. And muffins and cakes and good coffee tables and seats outside on Regent Street, a respite from the heaving scrum that is High Street and just up the road from a pub whose name surely earworms all who sail in her. I haven't tried the pasties yet but will do so. C19 safety precautions were observed NHS check in app used, entry and exit lines. Reserva una mesa ahora

Very close to the Everyman Theatre, this is a neat little cafe serving sensibly priced delicious hot coffee, other hot drinks and snacks and light meals. It is quiet, the staff are friendly and it is much to be preferred over the noisy cafe in the theatre itself. Although it is no as 'posh '. My kind of place.

We love this place for light Italian lunches, delicious salads, wonderful pastas, great desserts, and the friendliest owner in town. There is always a warm welcome from Deyan. Excellent value, friendly, heartwarming, this is our favourite place to eat in Cheltenham!

Picked up lunch here, the short wait for it to be made is worth it. If you want a great lunch this will be freshly prepared with the right combination of flavours. The service was super lovely.

Lovely little place, the friendliest staff you could ever imagine! Mozzarella panini is really tasty and I'll no doubt be going back for a slice of cake later today! A hidden gem. Reserva una mesa ahora
