La Scala is an apt choice of name. As with grand opera, this is food to wholly produced on site by an owner with a great love of food and how it should be presented. Master Chef on BBC, this is it in real timespoil yourself and partake in a great treat and feast.By the way it is a pizzeria restaurant.My wife had carbonara tagliatelli served in a way to amaze. I had a Ham calzone, that must have had a side of ham in it. Then there were the little treats- unexpected but pure heaven.

Lovely hand made pizzas, nice crispy bases. Eat in or takeaway. The owners are very friendly and helpful although will insist on adding amuse bouche and other bits instead of concentrating on the service. Deserts served on slates but they will swap them for a plate if asked. Gets very busy so be prepared to wait sometimes. Recently added air-conditioning and double glazed windows for an improved dining area. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area or order a takeaway.

We have visited this restaurant quite a few times now and it is always superb food and service. The pizzas are the best ever and the service is consistently brilliant. The wine list is also really extensive. The owners along with their son offer a real personal and friendly experience. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

I have been to La Scala before, but a considerable time ago. It has different owners to previously. The food was excellent and the service was too. They have a comprehensive menus and the food was all freshly prepared. I shall certainly return. Reserva una mesa ahora

I have visited La Scala many times and have never been disappointed. The food is very good and the owners are excellent hosts, especially their son. He is extremely helpful and a credit to his parents. I would highly recommend a visit.

We had two pizzas to take away. They’re 30cm pizzas, with a good amount of topping. The owners were nice cheerful people. We would have liked to eat in, but were in a hurry that day. Either way, great pizzas with a twist.

We have been going to La Scala for many years. The food is always excellent, there is always an Amuse Bouche. The owners speak good English and the menu is English as well. A lovely evening with friends.
