The service was great and the atmosphere is what you’d expect in an old Italian restaurant. I got Ziti and meatballs. The meatballs were good and the ziti was good (but for $22 I expected a bit more ziti). The one thing that makes it all come together is the sauce. This is where it’s lacking. To me a good sauce is thick and hearty, a nice shade of tomato red. Something you could pick up with some bread if you wanted to. The sauce I got was watery, a diluted red and there wasn’t much of it. More soupy than a sauce. Any store bought Ragu or Bertolli would be better than this. So glad we decided to try this local gem. If you want authentic Italian cuisine...this is your place. The chicken Parmigiana was perfect...and the sauce(? ..mmmmmmmm so so good...my husband devoured it! I had the seafood medley scampi ...there was so much I brought the rest home for another meal tomorrow! The atmosphere is perfect for a casual lunch or a beautiful dinner date. Service was spot on !!!

We ordered mussels, veal roberto, and chicken. The mussels sauce was delicious, that was one of the best sauce for mussels I’ve had. However, the mussels aren’t fresh. The meat tasted old and frozen for weeks. The veals and shrimp with a side of linguine was not bad. Good portion. Restaurant is cash only, they have an ATM inside.

We celebrated my daughter’s Graduation from Nursing School last evening at La Scala. Thank you to the restaurant for allowing me to “store” the cake there until our later in the day arrival! Food exceptional as always! Wonderful waitress who addressed our every need. Welcoming as we entered. I thank you, LaScala!?

What a beautiful gem of a restaurant! Very cozy atmosphere with options of different rooms for larger parties! Food was delicious from the appetizer right down to the homemade dessert (bread pudding)! Server was friendly, too. A must try if you’re an Italian food lover!

Great first visit. Passing through the area and stopped by. Great first impression. Place is cash only, other than that(which is not a negative), it had a good menu were I would like to try more.

I have been here with my family many times. Always great food, friendly staff, and a well kept place. It is a cash only place, but they have an ATM. This is a great spot to come eat.
