La Scala Cognac - Reserva de mesa

This visit was the first for some years. Friends had recently been and recommended it as a good pasta/pizza place. Firstly, let me say that the décor is great fun; the recreation of a village square in Italy, washing on the lines and a delivery scooter parked. Secondly the prices a very reasonable and the food is very good. On this trip 5 of us went for lunch on a Friday in August. We had a table, as booked, on the terrace overlooking the River Charente. a very successful evening in an excellent restaurant. the frame is very well-kept. the guests on the terrace enjoy the view on the docks. those who are in the interior, are immersed in italia thanks to the neat decoration: balconies with linen that dries, small fountain, car piaggio used to store pizza boxes. everything is there! a varied map, excellent pizzas, the rest of the card is at the same level. the small local touch is also present with some proposals making the beautiful part of Cognac. The service is rather fast and attentive. We found our restaurant for our cognac trips!

This was the second year running in having our anniversary lunch in Cognac. Lovely setting on the terrace overlooking the Charente and Food to match. Plat du jour was beautiful fillet de Porc mignon with pasta and veg whilst others had wonderful Pizza. Children's menu was proper food rather than processed stuff. Great lunch - both service and food. Would love to revisit next year! Many thanks to everyone at La Scala!

Un italiano al borde Del Río con una terraza muy agradable. Un antipasti bueno, el carpaccio muy bueno y de los postres el tiramisu, los profiteroles con un relleno de helado de coco un poco extraño. Un rosado de Cotes de Provence muy bueno también. Precio un poco alto. Si se puede conviene reservar fuera en la terraza. Reserva una mesa ahora

several meals inside or on the terrace. The interior decor is well kitch but rather nice. the terrace has a magnificent view overlooking the tank. efficient service that could more smiling. Pizzas and salads very correct and copyy. reasonable price for the season and location!

the aperitif that does not arrive then service of the dishes and miracle: you are then brought the aperitif and the anti pastis! but above all don't laugh. Tell the manager who thinks he's doing his job very well!

Very nice decoration you would believe on a village square!with its fountain the linen with windows....Pizzy paste as you like fine and mellow service despite the world, nice welcome I recommend.

Italian decoration very nice but very disappointed by the quality of the meal. The freshness of the dishes is not at the rendezvous. price quality ratio incessant. I'm not going back.

The dishes are excellent, the service pleasant, the decoration adapted and sought after. I'm not going as often as I want because of that.
