the place is sober and elegant. It is very pleasant to see the chieffe and his brigade evolve in this kitchen facing the room, where a curiously Zen atmosphere reigns. We had a 4 course lunch with an additional cheese course, several “surprises,” and a few glasses of very nice French wines. There was a single server who was very accommodating and gracious. Though 7 and 10 course options are available, my husband and I found 4 courses to be plenty of food over a relaxed period. Lunch lasted about 2-1/2 hours but we felt the pacing of dishes was very comfortable. We had high expectations with this being so highly rated, and we were very disappointed. The staff was rude, the food was terrible, everything that came out was lukewarm at best. One of the dishes was not even cooked and cold. We could see the chef putting her finger in each dish to test the temperature and most were sent back. There are so many good restaurants in Paris, don’t waste a reservation on this disaster.
I’m Parisian, I have eaten in severals etoilés, and i can’t see where are the two stars. Obviously, the food is good, but not so delicate or surprising. We were glad to choose a bottle of Saumur around 80€ (2 bottles actually and not the accord mets vins at 155 per person To sum up, it not worth the price it cost. So i won’t recommand it. You can find better and finer tables for less
Sublime and exquisite food. Wonderful setting. Fabulous service. 5 Stars all around. Warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The service staff was clear and concise when explaining our courses. Timing and pace of meal was a well oiled machine. We were even sent on our way with one last treat a delicious cookie that made the search for a taxi tolerable.
Over rated, under staffed. Tried to serve leaves of bread to fill gaps between servings. Owner catered to one particular table only
