We dropped in without a reservation and the restaurant was very busy. They graciously made a place for us. Even though the restaurant was full, it was not overly noisy. This is one of the few places where you can hear the people at your table. Much appreciated. I wanted to avoid dairy products and ordered the fried zucchini not thinking dairy would be an issue. The waiter was very attentive and returned to tell me they soak the zucchini in milk during the preparation process. I was very impressed with the care he took. The food was very good. We each had soups - pasta and bean and the minestrone. They were excellent and large portions . We had the linguini with clam sauce which was well prep...
I had visited this restaurant a few years ago, but today was different. The salad was fresh and flavorful! The pepper grinder is enormous! The veal with the pepper cognac sauce was tender and easy to cut with a bread knife and the sauce had and outstanding flavor. The mushrooms were a nice touch.The desert was crème brûlée which did not disappoint. The coffee was hot and fresh!The atmosphere was relaxed complete with music that made you feel like you were actually in Italy.Well done! I would not hesitate to recommend your restaurant.
Very good, inexpensive Italian restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and a great staff. Recommended for business lunches with a quite atmosphere , quick and delicious special lunches.Also a good place for entertainment for the family and friends, featuring live music ( accordion/guitar) strolling musicians giving the evening a real treat.Recommended for brithdays and other celebrations
Very nice atmosphere, clean, and in house musicians. Outside terrace is perfect for dinning. Staff very friendly and attentive. we were a group of 6 people and we each chose a different plate from the menu so as to taste all dishes. All of us were very happy with the taste of all the plates and wold definitely return.

We dined at La Serenata with a group of 12 family members and friends. Everyone seemed very happy with their meals. Service was very professional. One of the group was rather "fussy" about their order. The server was very pleasant about making a substitution without any problems at all. Would return.
Went to serenata and really enjoyed it. The food was great quality and good portions. Loved the rack of lamb with rosemary sauce and the spicy oil was delicious and not overpowering. The mussels were good as well. The ambiance is great especially due to the accordion and guitar player. Would return.
The food was good & delicious. The service very helpful. The decoration of the restaurant was inviting. Moreover the music by the singer & accordionist gave a fantastic mood to the place.
On holidays we took out our Aunt for lunch. I am allergic to wheat and soybean and I was served a delicious penne, safe for me. A wonderful experience and good lunch.

Week day evening dinner for 2. Service was great as well as the food. Perfect portions, not small nor big. The food products were fresh and lots of flavour.
