La Sicilienne - Reservar una mesa

The previous reviews were mixed but we thought it worth a try, we were not disappointed. It was Wednesday and the place was quiet so being served and having the pizza delivered on time was no problem. This is a place used by locals who pop in and are happy to chat while ignoring the menus only succumbing to " are you ready to order " when it really was needed. We started with a mixed salad that kept two of us busy with an excellent dressing. Then for the pizzas, previously the best we have had was in Sorrento in an open air restaurant, but honestly this was its equal. No comment on the sweets as we had no space for any, so if you like desserts then perhaps miss the starter. It is a 5 minute walk from the Place Republique where we parked for free after 7pm. Would we go again. - definitely!

We went on a Sunday night when there aren't many restaurants available and didn't have high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. This is an Italian family restaurant with all the pizza, pasta etc you would expect. Despite being largely empty, the atmosphere was good and the pizza oven was fired up.

Stopped here for a pizza and sat on the terrace. No flies despite it being a hot evening. The pizza could have fed two people but I persevered because it was vey tasty. Not a lot else to say, food was ok, terrace was enclosed and so was in shade, staff were fair.

Found this nice restaurant and was more than satisfied with the pizza served. The decor of the restaurant is very original and adds a definite attraction to the place. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice pizza cocked on the Woods oven and nice staff. We will back again because we enjoyed this place.... James and Lucy.
