La Sidreria - Reservar una mesa

Been here before seven years ago and came back with pretty much the same people as then and some lucky newcomers. Doing some fire training on a mate's boat then we were befriended by a marina employee, now harbourmaster, what a great move that is for Vilanova Grand Marina because he's a fantastic guy, and he took us back to this place. Went out this last weekend with same friends plus the newbies. There were seven of us, we were initially fairly thirsty and the beer flowed. We then ordered a selection of tapas and some, myself included, moved to red wine whilst others stayed on beer. I was at first concerned about the amount of food when we ordered that there wouldn't be enough but we all had our fill. Great early evening to get the party going which it did and for less than 30€ a head. Wow! A go to place in Vilanova.

Good food, good prices and a good vibe. This little bar/restaurant is great. Long and narrow inside, but with plenty of tables outside most of the year. Great range of wines by the glass (I had a glass of Protos red, well two actually, for 2:50 euro! They have a great fixed price lunch menu, and a good general menu that is not too big so you know stuff is fresh. Thursday night is Pintxo night, (no food from the menu but a wonderful selection of what are basically tapas on a slice of bread. These delights come from the kitchen constantly, so you can go back and get a couple more new ones as they come out fresh and piping hot, enjoy, we do!

La Sidreria is not bad: middle-level quality of the dishes, good service, good prices. In the average.
