friendly welcome of the boss. family atmosphere and relaxed for this restaurant. the menu is varied and offers many local dishes in very good quantity. The child menu is very good. prices are really correct. for certain menus, a small sum is donated to local associations (soa, restos of the Heart, ...), very beautiful initiative. The kitchen is family, simple and efficient (it is very good). The boss, who is only at the service, gets out of hand so that the customers can be served as soon as possible and don't miss anything. not always easy when the room is full. bravo for this energy!!! to those who would reproach for a slight waiting, are you not on vacation and should not be relaxed .......
Visiting Cauterets at the end of March, we found that although there was still 3 weeks of the skiing season left, most of the towns restaurants were closed on a Tuesday and Wednesday (bad news for us on our 2 night stay). La Sierra however was open for business, the first night we were turned away as fully booked, we made a reservation for the 2nd night and had a delicious meal in a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The service was great and the waitress very friendly and helpful. Thank you La Sierra for a lovely evening and for being open!
We came to this place its a restaurant in a small corner, very lovely decoration! We picked a module du soir, which costs us 18 per person for entrée and plat. There is confit de canard which is very good that you must try, also the paté au piment. The rest is up for your own discovery but we really enjoyed the other meal, wishing the beef was a bit less cooked but it was a great experience.
My husband and I were visiting Cauterets and hiking some great trails in the area. We were hungry at the end of the day. La Sierra was the perfect restaurant for us. We enjoyed three courses at a reasonable price. The dishes were creative and delicious. The atmosphere of the cafe was very welcoming. We spent three nights in Cauterets. We enjoyed two of our three evening meals at La Sierra.

we went there during our family holidays and were very welcome with our children 2 and 4 years old. Moreover there is all that is necessary for them (good menu, nice table to eat, games, aquarium, dog). the meal we chose was excellent: kir, garbide, truffle, chocolate mousse, Basque cake, bologna crozets. The addition was not salty.Thank you for the evening.

Great traditional food in a charming little restaurant. Both normal and vegetarian garbure were tasty as well as the trout. Service was really nice.
