La Sierra Mesquite Smoked Bbq

Great Texas style BBQ. Brisket had a nice smoke ring and a lot of mesquite flavor. Ribs were perfect meat fell off the bone. Chicken was charred well with moist meat beneath the skin (leg and thigh). Homemade sauce has a nice vinegar twist with a bit of bourbon aftertaste. Beans are pintos in their own sauce. Coleslaw is made with a sweet poppy seed dressing that was surprisingly good. Cabbage was crisp and very fresh. Overall a great BBQ joint.Parking: Old Sonic Drive In. Dozen angled slots and a couple others.Wheelchair accessibility: All one level.

After a day sightseeing, we found this spot on line and gave it a try. It is a small mom and pop operation which smokes great meat. I had ribs and my wife had a pulled pork sandwich. Both were excellent. No sauce was needed. The smoke did the job. The pulled pork was all tender meat no fat. The ribs were tender and delicious. I highly recommend this place.

The ribs were mostly bones with very little meat, and the brisket tasted just alright—not particularly fresh. The barbecue sauce was overly tangy with too much apple cider vinegar. The sides were decent, but I would definitely recommend avoiding the barbecue, as it made me feel quite unwell.

Amazing dinner tonight! We ordered a full rack of ribs, sausage, and smoked brisket. And, the potato salad, beans, and Mac and cheese for our sides. ALL of the food was incredible!! All four of us agreed that it was the best BBQ we'd had in years. Thank you!! Reserva una mesa ahora

The brisket reminded me of authentic Texas mesquite-smoked meat. It was tender and packed with incredible smoky flavor. The owner displayed genuine Texas hospitality. I only wish I lived closer so I could enjoy their food more often!

They blocked my number from calling because I asked for a rib sandwich. The lady was fine with it but you'd think I insulted the guys mom or something. Just tried to call, then immediately called from a different phone and it worked.

The inside is so cute and very clean! The food is great and the owner brought our kids free ice cream. Great customer service.Kid-friendliness: Good options and owner was so kind to bring the kids ice cream.

Food made us sick but it’s was fairly tasty, nice outdoor seating that’s dog friendly, plenty of parking, not busy at all even during the festival, funky smell inside and outside, staff wasn’t very Reserva una mesa ahora
