We hosted a brunch for a group of 20 people - the service was attentive and the menu options (5) were varied enough for anyone to pick their preference. They accommodated the event on a weekday even though they usually only have brunch on the weekend. Very much appreciated !!! They allowed us to bring in balloons to decorate the restaurant with and served viennoiseries with juice and coffee to tied people over until the main meal was served - just to note make sure you know the exact number of people attending because you will be charged for no shows
First off, it's a beautiful, classic restaurant with outstanding service and a diverse menu. However, one would expect to feel a bit more "special" when paying nearly 30$ CAD when simply ordering a standard breakfast and coffee. The food was underwhelming and the coffee was as weak as a light American breakfast brew. That said, I will return later to try their dinner optoins and see if they can improve upon their "average" fare.
Can across this restaurant late at night, it not only has fantastic food especially their Duck Terrine but the setting of the restaurant is very warm and welcoming. There is plenty to choose from on the menu wether you want something lite or the full three courses. The staff are very accommodating and helpful if you have any questions. If in the area I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We had a very pleasant, relaxed dinner at La Societe Montreal. The restaurant is very spacious with wood paneling. The wait staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. The hanger steak was tender and favorful; the duck terrine tasty, and the lobster roll generous with the portion of lobster.

We enjoyed a nice evening meal in this lovely parisien style bistro. I would recommend the seafood. The oysters were lovely.I was intrigued by their salmon bouillabaisse on the menu, it was a mixture of fish and prawns with a clear broth. delicious but it was no bouillabaisse.
We have been here many times and always come back, every time we are in town.the service and food are excellent. This time only for drinks - but was again a nice interlude while it was pouring rain outside. You feel like you are in Paris.
Went for solo dining. I had Lobster risotto and it was fantastic. The atmosphere is casual. A lot of everyday dinning food choices. Plenty of wine/cocktail choices. A great place for casual dinning in DT Montreal.
Most tender swordfish I ever had. Interesting ingredients. Delicious wine recommendations by sommelier, beautiful interior, and incredible service!

Went for a glass of champagne and had the calamari which was excellent. Nice surroundings and attentive staff. Thoroughly recommend.
Ordinary menu, and the service was very poor. Seems to me only especially nice just for a quick drink on their terrace?
