Arrived with reservation for 1 person. I advised owners that I spoke no French and they were kind to offer assistance. However, in addition to the regular menu, I was show the menu du jour which looked delicious (and it was! . But the pricing was 37 Europe for 2 people. When I selected it, I assumed, incorrectly, that an adjustment would be made to the pricing for a solo diner. Not the case. There was a complimentary taster of cream of mushroom soup followed by a starter consisted of a delicious scallops with leek cream sauce en croute. Amazingly good. The main was a piece of chicken (small breast/thigh in a brown sauce with spiced carrots and potatoes lyonnaise. Choice of cheese or tiramisu...
We found this little gem by accident and what a find. Nothing too fancy, but great salads, chicken en creme, duck and salmon all served with best chips I’ve had in years. Our desserts -French toast, creme brûlée, creme caramel -were equally scrummy. The plat du jour was a reasonable €9.50 and eight of us were fully fed and watered for €140. The service was efficient and above all friendly. Thanks for a lovely lunch.
A very nice discovery in Limoges during my lunch break. Too bad I didn't have time to browse the whole card to taste the lamb mouse and other vicars, but the menu of the day was already good! The welcome is very pleasant too and the note really correct! Go with your colleagues, coupons or family...
Nous avons privatisé le restaurant La Souris Verte pour une fête familiale. La variété, la qualité des mets proposés, l'accueil, le service tout était parfait. Un grand merci à toute l équipe et particulièrement à Agnès pour sa patience et sa gentillesse. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr.
