"I enjoy coming to la strada for the veal dishes, I came Sunday with my wife and my son we ordered veal. It's not the same veal we've been used to. It was very chewy .Please don't change the quality of your veal, we don't care about the price as long the meal is good. I went from a 5 to a 3 star. Keep the quality the same."

Wanted to try this place for a long time, after doing some food shopping me and my girlfriend decided to place an order to go and share a dish. We ordered the Rigatoni Al La Vodka and added chicken. For the side salad we got a ceaser salad, but the girl on the phone did not mention it would be a 4 dollar upcharge rather than getting the house salad. In total I spent $37, add in the tip and it goes to $40. This is key for this review. The bread was solid, nothing spectacular but solid. The salad was very small, very few croutons and very little cheese, and the pasta dish was a very good flavorful sauce, decent pasta and not very good chicken. My wife and I went to La Strada last Saturday for my nephew's Baptism lunch. The service was excellent and they accommodated our special requests. The food was delicious and well presented, which is why I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1. However, I am currently feeling very sick, dehydrated, lightheaded, dizzy, and have a headache after experiencing the worst 48 hours in a long time. I won't go into details, but many of us in our group have been dealing with what seems to be Norovirus (tested negative for COVID). This hit us on Sunday and has been a struggle. An amazing first experience!! We were 10 minutes late to our reservation from rain, and waited another 15 minutes for a table. DIDNT MATTER. worth every minute of the wait! They are busy for a reason! We had John as our server. He was exceptional. So funny and did not hold back with his customers in terms of personality and laughs. He also knew all the repeat customers around us by name, which me and my fiancé loved (gives a more family feel). We were well beyond closing hours and weren’t rushed at all. The best vodka sauce in town. We’ve been looking for the perfect Italian spot for our designated date night and finally found it. Thank you!
The restaurant's overpriced menu is nothing special. My $48 fish special was disgusting, but I didn't complain and just picked at it to avoid a scene. The service was slow, and the waiters seemed clueless or dishonest. On top of already high prices, they try to scam you by adding extra charges like pretending salads are included in your meal or charging for coffee you never received. This was a birthday dinner, but they didn't even bother to put a candle on the dessert for the birthday person. They did remember to add a 20% tip to the bill though. Wow, what a find! My business partner and I are from out of town and decided to stop in for a late lunch. The owner Michael, host Larry, and waiter Jason are the most hospitable group of gentleman I have encountered in a long time. If the impeccable service was not enough the cuisine at La Strada will surely win your heart. The appetizer, main course, and desert were delicious!! I can’t wait for another occasion to visit their restaurant. Every second of the hour and fifteen minute drive was well worth it. Bravo!!
Went to dinner with another couple. The food was very good however, at 9pm on a Saturday night we were told by the owner we would have to leave because they had to set up for the next day. One doesn’t expect to be told on a Saturday night at 9pm that one has to leave the restaurant so that they could close! We’ve been there on other occasions and we’re surprised that they were not too busy. I wonder if others have had a similar experience. We felt very offended and have no plans to return as a result.
The meal was mediocre, nothing exceptional. I had high expectations for this restaurant, but it did not live up to them. The Caesar salad should have had homemade croutons, and the chicken marsala was just average with a bland and thin sauce. The server was satisfactory, but the host was rude when we requested a window seat. I doubt we will be coming back here, as the food was average and the restaurant was cold, except for the warm bathroom.
Carlos was an amazing conscientious server and Dudee a great busboy who both made sure my grandson s graduation luncheon was a big success Excellent appetizers and drinks. Entrees and meatballs were really enjoyed by all but I was disappointed that my pasta with beans and spinach had biting raw onions that ruined it. Really nice restaurant inside, the staff and management there are truly wonderful. It 's a great place to dine out for a special occasion, or any occasion, but they don 't quite get the Michelin stars. For a place that nice you would think they food might be a bit more off the charts . It was really good but not the best ever. Nonetheless we 'd go back.
