I visited with a friend when the restaurant was virtually empty. Our food was really nice, we particularly liked the very thin pizza bases. The ambience was not helped by playing a local radio station, some decent music would have been better. Also, the service was slow, our waitress was more concerned with talking to friends and family in a different room than in checking to see if we needed anything. It wouldn’t be hard to make this place better put some decent music on and look after your customers a bit more! PS a cat walking about on tables also wasn’t a really great advert.....
during our stay in the perigord, we wanted a table for 8 people. foie gras with smoke magret succulent. The pasta was divine as well as pizzas without forgetting the waffles to dessert! only flat, expensive for some dishes, like the ravioli where there was not much, while the pasta was very well served with an entire magret for me. we would have loved a more smiling boss when we arrived and during the meal instead of a big smile when paying the bill. It was a shame. despite these small inconvenience very good cooking.
A very small family run restaurant, easily missed from the road. Do not be put off by the rustic charm of this place! A really nice selection of items on the menu and the guy that served us was really friendly and accommodating and did speak some English. The food was delicious, the pizzas were super tasty and we wouldn't hesitate to return. The service isn't super speedy but there is literally only a couple of people serving/cooking. Head here for delicious pizzas! We left with full bellies and very satisfied.
We ate with family, we were 12 people. We ate, pizza, pasta and ice cream. Everything was very good! Pizzas are delicious and well garnished, the dough is fine. Ice cuts and ice loops were very good. We all enjoyed ourselves, we were all served almost all at the same time. very kind and smiling staff. I suggest you book. Reserva una mesa ahora
We found this place through Tripadvisor and it was exactly what we were looking for: secluded location, away from the buzz of Sarlat/traffic/tourists, good pizzas (a little too thin for our taste) and desserts, reasonable prices, kids menu, good, no-frills service. Totally recommend !
