on the recommendation of the well-known we chose the château de roussan to celebrate the birthday of a city visitor. the ambiente was beautiful, but we were very disappointed by the service and our meal. in the night when we were there, there was a fisherman's and a meatier's. the trout was in order if nothing from the ordinary, but the bark was so hard, it could barely cut with a knife and chew only with a big upshot. we reported this to our server, whereupon the chef kindly came to our table to explain that what we had ordered was actually a muscle and not a piece filet. while we appreciate the explanation, the taste of the flesh could not be for toughness. we found the desserts a moelleux...
