This is a non typical restaurant centrally located in the Calvi harbour. With view at the citadel and the yachts hosted in a luxury and trendy environment. Also the dishes are non customary and luxury presented. Means quality above quantity. Very good quality food. A bit less speed between the starter and main course should be. Now the food was presented fast and if we would have hurried up we could have been ready in one hour. That is not how it should be in this type of restaurant. Also at the end the bill was presented before we asked. Not very guestfriendly. So some improvements for the serving staff to go for the full 5 dots.
I've been in this restaurant for over 30 years. Although it has recently changed its name from L'Île de Beauté to La Table de Sabine, some elements remain constant: warm welcome, exceptional quality of dishes and creativity in the kitchen. Very good cuisine, waiters and waitresses very nice! It was a great time. Thank you. I see a comment just before mine attempts to describe a scene that took place between 2 young women 2 lobsters and the boss (this is a catching title). No one has touched anyone, there was a misunderstanding as there can be in any one of the most classic restaurants in the chicest and this misunderstanding had to be settled here.
We chose to eat here on bastille day as the food looked nice and we would get a good view of the fireworks from the citadel. We were shown to our table fairly quickly but it seemed to take an age for anyone to come over to take our drinks order. Once we finally ordered to took about an hour for our food to come out. The food was very nice but overpriced in my opinion. It’s a nice place to eat down at the marina.

2 menus at 32 euros and frankly a treat. The dishes are balanced just like the quantities. Special mention on the revisit of Norman pie, art with a crazy taste. Just a flat the price of the glass of wine that is according to me excessive (10 € . Everything was perfect, the kitchen, the reception, the service, the atmosphere A very good time.
This restaurant serves high quality dishes based on local catch but inspired and spiced well beyond average. Certain dishes are probably aiming too high wanting to demonstrate a technique rather that focusing only on the essentials. Service is attentive and friendly good local wines.

Excellent fish cuisine. The young waiter is professional and pleasant. The setting and decoration are very successful. To recommend.
