Menu comprises a fixed price 3v course meal for the very good price of €12.50 Menu is written on a single blackboard, which is passed around by hand from table to table. The prices are much too high for the quality of the dishes served, that is, "it's homemade." a piece of butcher at 16€ partly immangeable because many nerves (it's normal, it's a piece with nerve!) and absence of a suitable knife, a slice of foie gras served melting (damage because very tasteful). The desserts are rather good but also a temperature problem for chocolate mousse (damage because the presence of Espelette's chili peppers was very successful in terms of balance) and the whipped...not made home. This small village bistro is obviously popular within the village, as it was full upon our arrival. So full, in fact, that the single waitress was obviously strained to keep up. When seated down, we waited a very, very long time to even be shown the menu. I was under the impression, the whole time, of being made to feel very much aware that our party were the outsiders in the local midst and service seemed to reflect this. Salmon terrine starter was okay; not quite what I expected though that is potentially my fault, but tasted of an average blend of compacted fish. The smile and the effective discretion of the service is to be emphasized, immediately you feel the desire to do well and especially the desire to satisfy. It's always hard to get back to an establishment, but that's a success. quality and originality are at the rendezvous, the suppliers are local, the wines of the village. We arrived at our hotel early so decided to take a walk through the village to find somewhere to have a late lunch we found this little place and what a find it was! Lovely homemade food with excellent quality meat. My husband really enjoyed his veal steak beautifully cooked. We were recommended a bottle of the local red wine fabulous! The service was great. Would definitely visit again if we are in the area!
We went to this restaurant for lunch and were very pleased with this choice. The place is specialised in meat which is very good. The meat is cut thick which is perfect to guarantee a perfect cook. Everything seems to be home made and the waitress is extremely nice and professional so I definitely recommend this place. Merci pour les bouchons de bouteilles et pour la spécialité polonaise ! :
My wife and I had a very nice dinner from the 3 course menu. At 25 euros, it was very well priced, and the food was delicious. The roasted bone marrow was prepared perfectly, and the steak tartare was truly excellent with just the right amount of seasoning. The wine was fine, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
I had a lovely lunch at Le Table du Boucher with three friends while travelling through the area. The couple who run the place were lovely, the food was delicious and authentic french cuisine!

Room and toys for kids. Also very friendly owners. Meat is very good with good size servings. A great surprise on our way to Bordeaux. Way better than a pit stop on the highway!
