I was busily searching for a place to eat on Monday, November 10 which wasn't technically a public holiday although the 11 was. It's already very difficult to find places to eat at any given hour in France because of the traditional 12-2pm and 7-10pm opening hours for restaurants. It's difficult for foreigners who are often on the road and don't want to have to constantly conform their daily itineraries to these hours but whatever, it is what it is, when in Rome...Anyways, I must say that after being yelled at by an incredibly rude waiter at the Auberge de la Halle who could quite frankly care less about our predicament of not having a place to eat, the staff at La Table d'Yvonne welcomed us...

We were dismayed reading restaurant reviews in Cordes -- no one seemed to have good things to say about too many places other than "They could handle a party of 40!" which isn't what two diners are looking for. La Table d'Yvonne is located near the Arcades (middle of Cordes) and was delicious. Pasta with foie gras was perfectly cooked (not overcooked!) and my husband had fois gras entier with grilled spiced bread (pain epice) which was also delicious. For dessert we had a muti-layer cream cake (can't remember the name) which was also delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

As only tinned foie gras is available in Australia, we have been greedily taking advantage of the bounty available in France. La Table d'Yvonne was fabulous - very well priced, and nice ways of serving foie gras. We loved the tagiatelle, foie gras and truffles. The lady serving us was lovely, she couldn't speak English and we can't speak French, but we communicated perfectly well. The liqueur appertif is a nice touch. Lovely setting, both inside and out. Charming and unassuming, and a great meal.

This little restaurant was packed when we arrived (unannounced) to eat. Despite being very busy we were promised a table if we were prepared to return in 20-30 minutes. It was worth the wait. The starter salads were wonderfully simple and fresh - yummy, tart dressing. The tagliatelle with confit duck was hearty and delicious (we shared it as the portion was large and rich). The food and service were of a very high standard. Too full for dessert so can't comment. Recommend it! Reserva una mesa ahora

I ordered the signature foie gras dish with tagliatelle. My description does not do it justice. It was top class and generous. My husband ordered duck and the children had local sausage. Everyone was very satisfied. The salads of the other diners looked wonderful as well. The house wine was very good. The dessert was wonderful. A special mention for the espresso coffee. It was the best we had in a long long time! The service was very gracious.

This restaurant reminded me of the John Belushi cheeseburger sketch. You could have a cheeseburger as long as it was what he thought a cheeseburger should be. A very limited, but very well-priced and prepared, menu served with a local aperitif and one of the three wines on their list. The setting is marvelous, adjacent to the covered market in the center of the village.

This little restaurant was the busiest place in Cordes at lunchtime (which I believe is the only time it opens). The service was very good, as was the food and it's a perfect place to sit and watch the world go by whilst you eat.

The ping of the microwave is like music rythm here. It seems like nothing is fresh. Everything is "canard" and the service is not so good. The location is perfect though. Reserva una mesa ahora

Try their speciality "Foie Gras with figues and tagliatelle" for a great culinary experience. The foie gras is perfectly cooked and served with smile +reasonable prices.
