La Taverna Del Barri Vell

We went for a visit, after seeing the menu deal for 14euro. Ended up ordering the lobster. Having tried several in catalunya, we were more than pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavours of the dish. The dish came with some very nice appetizers, and the service is excellent, unlike what were used to in the region. The food is really made with love and great attention by the chef. To sum it up, a must visit when you're even remotely around town!

Went here today for lunch after going to the Dali museum after reading great reviews on TA. Was superb food, on a set menu for only 22euro. Great service too, especially as we had a baby and toddler in tow. His chicken nuggets and chips were all fresh and absolutely delicious. Rioja and Cava we sampled were excellent too! Fabulous food, good drink, great service and very reasonable prices.

We just walked by as the restaurant still was closed. Asking, the chef led us in earlier with a smile. Good start. Steak and some regional specialities on our menue. Wonderfully done, combined with great drinks. A hidden treasue we recommend to everybody! :

Amazing tapas, nice friendly staff, absolute a visit worth. You notice at once the freshly made food. The croquettes and the sliced ham was superb!

The place was empty. The waitress circled around us non stop. Two salads one very salty paella for 50 Euros.
