we stayed for the week in the village beduer and went every morning to this bakery for freshly baked croissants (both flat and chocolate) and the most delicious cinnamon rolls. Make sure you come there when it opens every morning, except for Mondays when it opens, as there are almost always people waiting outside to open it. they also serve for lunch; we have not eaten there, since we were always out and visit the other cities in the region during day trips.
Great location, easy walking distance to most things in town. Parking on the street or nearby garage for free. Room was nice with a view and comfortable bedding. No breakfast means you need to plan ahead or visit the bakery only a few meters down the road. Host was friendly and spoke English.
nice and warm environment. friendly English customers but too noisy. not normal that in france the vast majority of employees of this institution do not speak French or say they would not speak French to serve customers.

Good for lunch, wide choice of dishes (pizzas, cakes and pancakes, savoyard specialities). Cheap enough for quality and a small noisy room.
we came to finish with great snow day and fall with good beer! We weren't irland, but there guinness makes us a crazy good!
