This was not your average french restaurant and as can be seen from other reviews, your enjoyment will depend on your choices. Be warned, they speak no english, or at least do not admit to it.We started with a spicy soup with prawns. Very tasty.Next was what can best be described as a mild lamb curry. Reasonable tasty.The deserts were interesting and had good flavour. We had a pear and banana mixture. Sounds strange, but it works. We also had an apple crumble, with a french twist.Overall, not outstanding, but reasonably good.We did notice that an adjoining table of locals seemed to have spagetti with everything and really enjoyed it.
Frankly, I got really worried after sitting down and realising that the waiters were dressed up in medieval style capes! My expectations for the quality of food dropped severely - when has a serious restaurant owner with a true interest in serving good food for all customers ever asked staff to dress up like that??But a couple of hours later, we walked back to our hotel being very pleased with the food. It is recommended.
We choose the Menu for 19€ and received a very good and big dinner with a large pulpo salad, a great main dish ( excellenr, tender chicken and some great pasta with mussles. We were so filled we nearly could'nt finish the desert. (Ice Cream and creme brullees)This was a real treat and a great value for 19 €!service was great, positive surprise!
I've been here with 8 friends and we had the medium menu. Every single course was excellent, all friends agreed. As we might expect in France, great wines were served for a reasonable price. I would return to this restaurant.

Had dinner there with my friend. Wish we didn't bother. Waiters didn't acknowledge us had to stare at them for attention. Had our plates thrown on our table. In the end we just laughed at it.
