La Terra - Reservar una mesa

I visit Girona from London many times each year. In the past my family have visited La Terra for a snack and a drink and enjoyed it. We visited this week for a hot chocolate and the waiter was so rude. The attitude was appalling. Also the toilets were dirty and there was no toilet paper. When we paid the bill, the money was snatched from our hand by the waiter. This is our last visit on our next visit to Girona, we will find somewhere more pleasant and clean.

The owner and staff at this charming local restaurant are exceptionally kind and wonderful. The food is simple, but very good, and the prices are very reasonable. There was a lovely fire going the day we visited, which only added to the already beautiful ambiance with traditional ceramic tiles and a gorgeous river view. Highly recommended and they are always open !

After a few hours walking we popped into La Terra for a spot of lunch a drink. Between us we had a Roquefort Tomato quiche, Salt Pepper Sausage sandwich a Pork Loin sandwich, all of which were excellent, washed down with a couple of radler. Great value very tasty. Sat at windows which looked out onto the River which was also very nice. Enjoyed this place very much.

€2.90 each for an excellent rioja and savignon. Nice authentic Spanish decor and food cooked on a hotplate in full view. Good price for food. We didn't eat but it looked lovely.
