We arrived here after completing the GR20 from north to south. Needless to say we were very tired. We checked in to a 4 bed room which was clean and comfortable 2 single beds and a bunk bed with a shared balcony and en suite. There were shared kitchen facilities and a sitting area too. Also, washing machines you can use for a small fee. You can camp here too. The evening meal was lovely even if we had to wait for a long time. It was worth the wait. Breakfast was included in our stay. We paid 40euros each for our stay which included dinner and breakfast which is quite reasonable we thought. We paid 40 euros for a lift navette into Porto Vecchio. We had dinner here, but this is also where you can book the “navette”, or local mini bus which takes up to eight passengers at a time into Porto Vecchio and a few other places. It is also where the gite is located, where you can camp, and have a drink! Kind of a one stop shop. Back to dinner: nice setting, with lots of outdoor tables as well as an inside dining room. There are a choice of three or four salads, as well as a pasta pesto for the vegetarians. Quite a few other choices for the omnivores, and a good dessert selection as well. Service was a bit slow but friendly. They could do with some more wait staff, but they did a good job considering how busy they were when we were there. From...
Finally when we arrived at Conca the gr20 bar was closed 8pm but below 50m la tonnelle gr20 was to us like a haven. A great food, clean beds both owners Julian and his wife hard working Stars help us a lot despite was after 21:00 they still serve us delicious food. They all were very nice 5* service. They have drove us to the beach and back as we have extra day also to the bus stop in st luciana at 8:10am to travel to Bastia It was amazing how smoth and easy everything was with them Great service, friendly environment, could communicate in English as we could not speak French. I recommend this place for everyone who finish in Conca or starting the gr20 trip
Après une matinée aux 3 piscines, on a eu la chance de bifurquer pour tomber sur la fin d’étape du GR20. Restoration très simple mais avec des plats copieux. On conseille les viandes grillées à la plancha accompagnées de ses légumes ! Le service y est très convivial, sans chichi et avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Merci pour l’accueil !
