lunch for five and we decided to eat in the mall outside. two pizzas, two garnels and spaghetti dishes and an Italiana salad. the dinge did not come to a great start when they advised some time after our orders that they were made out of...alcohol-free weizenbier and hadwe had to have something elsé! Unfortunately, this was reported to only two of the three diners who finally ordered and received a pilgrim. let them have a diner with nothing to drink at a 39c day! This Italian restaurant is apparently 20 years old and well known by the locals. It is a cliché of an Italian restaurant as far as seating, lighting, decoration and atmosphere. The menu is organized like a Chinese takeout with all dishes numbered. The servers use these numbers to take the orders but also to bring the plate to the table saying: number 17? Odd…The quality of the food, however, was fine. Not great, but better than average. We asked for fresh Porcini mushrooms in our fettuccini and with our steak and were happy with the result. When we asked for grated cheese it seemed this was not usual because we got the cheese after a while but not grated but cut by hand in small slivers. Win...

The restaurant itself was authentically decorated with reminders of old Italy and the atmosphere was quiet and romantic and without kitchen odors. The cook was obviously Italian and knew how to please his/her customers. The quantity was quite large. The St. Luzia salad with turkey...strips and wild salmon was absolutely delicious and so large that my wife and I had little appetite left over for the main entry. The main entry, Cannelloni filled with a delicious sauce, spinach and buried in cheese, was out of this world. Early Saturday evening we arrived just after 6 PM hoping to escape the wintry weather. Without a reservation we ended up at a table for 2 near the entrance. The menu is extensive and we decided to each order from the daily specials (rabbit and salmon). The meal came with soup, salad, main course, and desert. The waiter was trying to be attentive and accommodating as my partner has some serious food allergies and the menu does not address these concerns very well. Whilst visiting Bad Nauheim, I met a friend and we went here for lunch (05.02.16). I had Menu 1, Goulashsuppe which was lovely. Then I had the Tagliatelle which was also very good, with cream and bacon, full of flavours. The Gemischte Salate Was plentiful and the dressing was gorgeous. To finish a light panacotta with chocolate and kiwi sauce. Couldn't fault anything, even the price , €9,80.Would recommend anyone to visit.The two staff working were both very smartly dressed, polite and very hospitable. Excellent!

we have eaten bad nauheim several times in many restaurants in the city. without any doubt la toscana is the best for service, friendliness quality of food. it is a family-run esserei that offers real Italian European food to reasonable trips...prices that are rich. what impressed us was the willingness of the staff to go extra mile, offer us dishes that were not on the menu. for all who recognize them foods that enjoy fine food attentive service, this is the place to visit in bad nauheim!

we went to this restaurant a few times while we visited family in bad nauheim and it was my favorite. I have never eaten such a delicious pasta dish and the minenstro suppnee is from this world. the atmosphere is very beautiful as it is a family...running and giovanni and his nice woman nicola have welcomed us very much. we took our family there with young children and they were very helpful and friendly. I recommend this restaurant.

convened on Thursday evening and shown to a table and then completely ignored and forgotten. no menu, no drinks. we left 15 minutes and then. we said to the same waiter who showed us on the table, we went as there was no service. he grinned, apologised and said we had left his radar that he had “forged” we were there. the manager of this restaurant must be personal training! I guess nobody from that restaurant has ever set foot in La Toscana, perhaps neither in Italy but what they cook here, has nothing to do with italian food. Big platters flooded with fatty sauces is not really italian... Old-fashioned decoration, background music that somebody...from my grandma's generation in Italy might still listen to and not too bad service.

Food and service was excellent! The gnocchi is one of the best I've ever had. Decent wines available.
