La Trattoria - Reservar una mesa

We had a very enjoyable dinner at this restaurant. We started with a delicious garlic bread topped with cheese. I ordered the cannelloni, which was cooked perfectly, although I wish there were three tubes of pasta instead of just two. I couldn't resist ordering another round of garlic bread. My wife enjoyed her chicken dish. To finish off the meal, we shared a decadent treacle panettone, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a great evening in a nicely decorated restaurant. They definitely know how to do things right.

My friends and I opted to try something different instead of the usual Friday night fish and chips. We were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem! Each of us ordered a different pasta dish and they were all fantastic. The service was fast, attentive, and the staff were very knowledgeable about Italian cuisine. The ambiance of the restaurant was charming and we had a wonderful dining experience. We definitely plan on returning and would highly recommend this place to others.

This was our first visit to the restaurant and we had a great time. They were accommodating and allowed our well-behaved small cavapoo to sit under the table while we enjoyed the delicious food and excellent service. We started with mussels and tiger prawns and had lasagne for our main course. We are looking forward to coming back again soon.

Staff were unfriendly, rude and unprofessional. The food was over priced. Portion sizes were small , but in a way a blessing so there was less to push around the plate. Prawns were not fresh and tasted terrible.

Very good atmosphere, friendly, good service, very good food. How wonderful to have a touch of Italy in little Swanage especially in these covid times!
