I have just returned from one of the most unpleasant evening dining experiences I've had in 50 years of eating in France. I've eaten at this restaurant many times and keep trying to find something good to say about it. But tonight's meal was a disgrace. Overpriced, sultry service, food I would not in any way serve to my friends at home. Pretentious. Nice location, nice view but I came here with friends to eat! The lamb was inedible, chunks of sinue and fat one couldn't even cut through. When I asked the proprietor, Katie, whether she would eat this rubbish she just shrugged and said it was the finest French gigot well maybe but if that's as good as it gets then .... well maybe look to New Ze...

The charming lady who seems to act as maître d' luckily found me a table on a busy Saturday night. The rest of the evening the service was impeccable. Discrete but efficient throughout. Nice selection to choose from on the fixed price menu. Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Duck starter, fillet of beef, cheese and chocolate dessert. Excellent value menu for such nice food, only €32. Highly recommended

We stopped here by chance and were able to enjoy a splendid lunch in the garden terrace. Service was exemplary and yet at the same time relaxed, putting us at our ease. The staff were able to accommodate not only our lack of French but also a food allergy. The fixed menu was very good value and the food itself was delicious. Overall, a lovely couple of hours spent with good food in lovely surroundings.

Have eaten several times here and always enjoy it. Highly recommend for lunch - €31 menu is great value for excellent food and an incredible view when you sit outside. Service is good, even allowing me to practise my French and not wince too heavily as I mangle their language!

Ate here whilst staying overnight. The menu is innovative and tasty. All cooked from scratch with a suitably reassuring wait between each delicious course. Washed down with a champagne cocktail and red wine.

this place was just amazing great food and the the hotel was great the staff was nice and the view from the terrace was stunning. the wifi was fast too. I recommend.

Five of us met in Cliousclat and we booked the half board deal for two nights. The location was brilliant and the food was great. The breakfast was also very nice.

Visited this place with my friend for a dinner. Food was amazing, good quality. Staff was friendly and attentive. Really worth coming by
