A hidden gem of a restaurant that flies under the radar. I stumbled upon La Valentina by chance when I couldn’t find parking near the beach and started looking further inland. This place was absolutely fantastic. There are some good Mexican restaurants in this area and these definitely rivals the best. Beautiful place beautiful ambience great with her family parking is a little annoying, but not a big deal and the only reason why I didn't have five stars I thought staff was just a little shorthanded so some things took longer, but I really can't keep that against them I am not working with everything and people now. The lower line big place do a favor give him a shot you won't regret it and it's BYOB that is always a plus.
The Molcajete is what I order. It's a huge meal, which is why I order it. I have leftovers for the next day or two. Normally the server's speak a little English, but not always. It's a BYOB like most Mexican restaurants. Plenty of seating. Food is made toorder, so it's always hot and fresh. They also have a small Mexican grocery store attached to the restaurant as well as nextdoor.

Authentic Mexican cuisine. I recommend the carne asada. There are many other dishes to choose from as well. The atmosphere feels just like being in Mexico, and they have a Latin jukebox for music! It's popular with the after-work crowd, and they also offer pickup and DoorDash services!
Each time I explore a new dish at La Valentina, it swiftly becomes my favorite on the menu. Everything is outstanding, just like always. The Gorditas de Chicharrón are particularly amazing, especially when paired with the salsa. I'm always craving La Valentina!
I absolutely love this restaurant, and their nachos are the best! The overall atmosphere is very professional, the place is clean, and the food is fantastic. It's definitely worth visiting multiple times!
