Du bon et du moins bon... Le bon : la jeune fille en caisse très souriante, les sandwiches à 9€ (bah oui, vous êtes en pleine montagne) qui sont bien remplis, les merguez au barbecue, l'endroit bien exposé et à quelques pas des pistes, le gentil petit âne à l'entrée ! Le moins bon : le personnel qui n'a vraiment pas envie de sourire (sauf la fille en caisse), la salade à 15€ très très peu pourvue (cher même en pleine montagne), la carafe d'eau inexistante qu'un malheureux client a demandé devant moi et s'est vu rétorquer qu'il y a bien une source plus haut dans la montagne s'il souhaite se désaltérer, les toilettes en panne. Bref, ça dépanne mais vu le cadre ça pourrait être tellement mieux...
We stopped here often for coffee, hot chocolate or lunch. The cabin is rustic and fun with a lovely log fire. The staff are super friendly. We had a great toasted baguette with ham and cheese and frites. We love seeing the donkey who is often standing on the piste or in his stable. We always bring him a carrot. The loo was out of action and so were the loos at the bottom of the Valette chair so be aware.
A quirky place to stop on the slopes but each year it seems to get more and more expensive for what you get. We have stopped less and less for a break also you have to pay to use the loo which is a bit cheeky! Just head down to the six man chair and use their loo for free!
We ate here most lunchtimes and we really enjoyed it. Excellent location right on the slopes but away from the the crowds. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Isola isn’t the cheapest of places but we thought the quality of food here made the price we paid good value.

a home kitchen, very generous desserts, authentic flavors, a sunny terrace, a smiling and efficient team, a mecene of dedication and exceptional energy! In a word, the guerilla is the place to be in isola 2000!
We call this the donkey restaurant as it has a donkey in the stable underneath. We wanted hot drinks but they had no hot water. The croque montagne was good and enough to share. Sunny spot.
Quick friendly service. Great food. We had lunch twice and afternoon coffee once here. They serve good sandwiches and great salads. Wish we’d discovered this restaurant earlier in the week.
Great restaurant for lunch and a glass of wine or beer, not table service but all the staff are great and friendly! They do a great BBQ on the terrace while you sail in the sun!

I have had the pleasure of eating both at lunch time and a special evening event at La Valette. The food is good, the service with a smile and the view 'imbattable '
altitude restaurant offering good meat in bbq. The ribs and the lamb are very good. special mention to the blueberry pie.
