La Ventana De Zufre

Zufre is a fantastic white village beautifully situated near the Huelva river and atop a hill so that you are often given fantastic views as you wander the streets. We arrived in Zufre the day after a local festival and La Ventana was one of the few places open. It was nonetheless a perfect spot to enjoy a few canas and take in a simply splendid view from their terrace. It initially had a sleepy air and represented as a quiet local tavern. However shortly after nine it seemed like the entire village turned up and in no time the place had been transformed into a bustling and lively hive of activity that was packed inside and out. It was quite the transformation and set up a fantastic evening. Various plates of amazing loking tapas were literally flying out the door and all seemingly prepared by just two women. The secreto and croquetas stood out particularly. but everything we tried was delicious!

Another Gem in the area. Traditional food and great views. The place to go for excellent Jamon Iberico, Cheese and good selection of Wines. The views are amazing. Superb Terrace to spend time in a lovely setting.

Great service. We chose a selection of loacal tapas, very large portions so best to order half portions. We also bought some local olive oil from here.

Comida tradicional de sierra, buena carne. Estuvimos en fiestas previas a romería y la carta de comida era muy reducida.
