La Vie Lebanese restaurant in Pompano Beach (281 S. Pompano Parkway, but the address is confusing because it is at the corner of a long strip plaza at the intersection of Powerline Rd. and N. Course Dr. . I have never been to Lebanon so I am not well versed in the middle-eastern culture except for Greek food. Therefore, I don’t know the authenticity of Lebanese food, but there were a couple of middle-eastern families with women wearing head scarves seated in the restaurant – when country-natives sponsor one of their restaurants, that is usually a sign that the establishment serves close to authentic down home cooking of that country. Took my mom here for her birthday. SAM, our waitress, was so awesome. We never been there before so she suggested things on the menu for us and she even broke down all the drinks because I didn’t know what I wanted.. she was super nice and kept checking on us even though she had bigger tables she was waiting on at the same .. will definitely come back and ask for SAM she was so welcoming, funny and vibrant. Thanks Sam! Oh and the belly dancer was so beautiful and talented!! Amazing entertainment. We tipped her but I wish she would go around with like a bag or bucket or something to collect money after .. she deserves it!!

My wife and I just have to say WOW! This diamond in the rough is definitely a gem you have to experience. Let start off with the appearance, the interior was decorated to the T like an exquisite and authentic Lebanese restaurant. We came right when the belly dancer show began and it was very beautiful and entertaining. The food was intensely delicious and exotic. We also want to say a special thanks to Othmane our amazing waiter who gave us first class service and was the icing on this unforgettable dining experience.

For my first time at a Lebanese restaurant, I must say that I was not at all disappointed with my visit. The setting is quite typical, very classy. The server was great. Lebanese beer is quite pleasant to drink. The meal was good. In addition, there is a pretty well-executed dance show by a pretty Lebanese girl.

First time trying this place and first time trying Lebanese food. Service was excellent and the food and drinks were really good. I had the lamb chops, which were the best lamb chops I've ever had. The lamb chops were very soft and flavorful. Also the belly dancing show just added to the overall experience.
