The new owners of this old forge are doing a superb job. The decor is country with the huge working fireplace which was lit and welcoming when we visited in November. There are interesting old ilmplements on the walls, including the huge bellows which worked the forge's brazier.The menu is interesting and changes with the seasons. Everything is well thought out and extremely well presented. Two of us had the smoked salmon starter was divine. My partner had the mushroom soup which he said was the best he had ever tasted.
