We were unsure about whether this was a restaurant or just a pretty bar as there were no menus displayed outside. Once we had established that they were serving food we were offered a nice table with a fantastic view out over the sea. I had moules frites blue and my husband had a duck dish. Both were delicious and well presented. We finished with a cafe gourmand and left very satisfied. Service was great with the waitresses and waiter all able to speak English but also happy to allow us to try our French on them. Would recommend
very beautiful place, beautiful setting, warm welcome. table reserved the day before facing the sea. and we had it well; dinner at the height of our waiting. we could even take dessert; If, despite a heart plate (see photo, you want fries, either to fill a small hollow or just by greedy., don't hesitate to ask again, they will always be served with a smile. If we spent 1h30 at the table, it's not because of the service but to enjoy the place, the atmosphere and the view.
Probably the best restaurant in (and definitely the best view of) La Tranche-sur-mere. We had lunch on Friday afternoon with my family (2 adults and 2 children) in late august. The place was pretty full but we managed to get a table overlooking the sea. Beautiful. The food was fantastic and really good value given the quality and volume. Would definitely recommend.
superb sea view the decoration is simple but effective, the cocktails are very good, we ate on site two days later the food is very good with fries houses and good products even if the price is a little high, I think it is from the view, compared to a lot of waiting between the 2h00 dishes on site while the restaurant was not complete.
