We celebrated our wedding at la villa des fleurs on August 12th, having found this fantastic restaurant and bar whilst on holiday in Annecy. La villa des fleurs is set in the small Savoie village of Talloires with a fantastic terrace, garden and pool.The planning process was looked after by Corinne and Dorothy, and throughout the whole process owner Jean Peal went over and above to make us feel welcome and to ensure we were happy with everything. He even took to the BBQ to help cook the food. On the day all of our hard work and their attention to detail paid off, everything ran smoothly, the service was attentive but not over the top. We ate here as a family and I have to say from the minute we walked in the teenager waiter was rude to us and treated us badly - we were with our young family and needed to eat and I would not have stayed if I been on my own. Examples of rudeness include: He was unfriendly and curt when we arrived and at each time he came to our table he threw everything down in a very bad manner Despite arriving early he served and took orders from 3 other tables We had to get our own forks and additional glasses from other tables and napkins because he failed to dress the table and would not let us catch his eye to ask himThe owner seemed friendly but oblivious to the levels of rudeness we had to endure fr...
Nous sommes venus en famille dans le cadre du Marathon d'Annecy. Vue de la terrasse agréable mais l'intérieur est décevant... si ce n'était que Ca! On a demandé s'il était possible d'avoir un plat de pâtes (sportif oblige), on nous répond : ce n'est pas un Resto pour marathoniens ici!!! Soit... nous avions pris un autre plat, entrecôte maturée, impossible de nous dire d'où venait le produit. Le service affreux, aucun ne parlait correctement le français! Le patron très désagréable, limite agressif pendant tout le repas, pour au final compter 4 coupes de champagne au lieu de 2, une bouteille de vin italien facturé plus cher qu'affiché sur la carte. We went to La Villa des Fleurs and were so disappointed The service was probably the worst we have ever experienced. So many things were wrong that it would be disingenuous to list them. The staff appeared to be under great pressure and perhaps the fact that a wedding reception was taking placemat may explain this. We could accept the fact that the wine we ordered never materialised and that some of the food was of poor quality but the attitude of the owner when we queried the bill was unacceptable. We sympathise with the staff but feel that management should plan for events that may effect the restaurant.We will not be returning and couldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Das Positive ist das Ambiente! Sehr schönes Lokal mit schöner Aussicht. Der Service war ne Katastrophe! Unfreundlich, fast militärisch wurde die Bestellung aufgenommen. Die Vorspeise kam teilweise sofort, teilweise deutlich später. Getränke kamen nur unvollständig und auch falsch. Das Essen war für den Preis etwas geschmacklos. Dessert war aber gut. In der Rechnung waren mehrere Fehler. Rund 30 € zu Gunsten des Restaurants. Keine echte Entschuldigung. Bestimmt nicht nochmal!
La Villa des fleurs est une belle adresse où la couleur des assiettes se marient avec le cadre idyllique de la vue sur le lac. Les plats sont goûteux et vraiment bons.Les serveurs sont atypiques. Malheureusement, mal organisés, ils n'ont pas de table attitrée et c'est un peu le cafouillage en sortant de la cuisine les plats à la main. On pourrait ne pas s'en rendre compte si le patron ne leur courrait pas après pour les rappeler à l'ordre....
Très beau cadre avec vue qui surplombe le lac, très beau parc, un grand parking (ce qui qui est appréciable à cet endroit). Touts est très bien, de l'accueil, au service (un peu lent), aux plats.
This restaurant is at first sight quite basic but we found the food good if simpleWe had the Plat du jour which was tasty & well prepared.
