our daughter, who had enjoyed two previous visits, took us to lunch. the menu detail all its (local) suppliers, bio credentials everywhere, and the weinlist was impressive. the dinge looked good. Unfortunately, disappointment was increased by increased expectations. menu du jour. feuillte de poireau...with smoked trout in order, and veloute tasty, but not generous. daughter merlu seemed very nice. civet de cerf so salty that it is not possible, but when we were our daughter guests, we stayed. wife and grandson soon gave up. I had waited for 50 minutes on the second course to come, despite meal times that required very little cooking, and was very hungry and with a lot of brot to reduce salin...
This restaurant was recommended by a staff member of our hotel. The food was excellent. The service exceptional. We arrived late and the hotel had called today we were coming. We were seated immediately and the waitress provided the necessary translation for our French challenged group. She recommended a wine which paired with our dinners. It was a wonderful experience for our entire group.
