When we were in Brittany in June we we went to the VILLE ANDON with some friends from the nearby town of Pordic, for a meal just after 13-30,its easy to get to from Saint Brieuc, Guinganp its not far off the N12 road it has plenty of parking lovely gardens that you can walk around and the food is all produced on site.They can seat 120 people in their 3 rooms the main room has a very large fireplace at the end of it where all the sausages are smoked the staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble, the patrons welcome you very warmly we were lucky to be with friends who have been there before and so knew the patrons very well, the food was excellent as was their home made cidre...
I spent a very good evening in this inn farm that offers simple and authentic cuisine, tasty, and with (almost) only products from their own farm. For the short chain, we can't do better! The very pretty stone room is located in an old farmhouse, and don't hesitate to take a look at the large chimney where wood fire smokes, for 1 month, the house andouilles served on the menu! Think about booking on the other hand.
The frame is beautiful, the huge fireplace with the andouilles that dry in, the welcome is very nice and the very complete menu, with good traditional dishes! to see also the works of contemporary art that dress the old stone walls, and that give this particular touch to the place. A pause to recommend during a stay in the area!
A warm welcome in a magnificent setting, an authentic peasant cuisine we loved cider duck. Andouilles smoke quietly in the fireplace which makes them delicious. Places like this are too rare! Don't miss them!
