This is a superb restaurant with fabulous views and wonderful service. The lovely man in charge of the restaurant service offered to move walls to make us happy if he could, one of us had complained at the low sofa seating and low table which I must admit was not very comfortable, we were lounging so far back that we couldn't easily have conversations across the table. We had been given "the best table" by which I think actually meant the best view. When the seating is so low, you can't do anything but lounge. Super service, it was suggested that we might like to try a lovely bottle of Red wine (€330), we asked if there was a cheaper suggestion so settled for a €170 bottle and delicious it was. I fear had we not taken a suggestion for the wine we might have ended up with a rather less attractive bottle at around €90. The food was wonderful, I've been several times before and can't help but always order the same glorious Tuna to start, divine. Excellent service in a wonderful setting. It's not a cheap eats restaurant and the evening cost €760 for four persons. My partner said to me later in bed "we can't afford to keep spending so much money, I've worked too hard to throw it all away". A pity because I love the place. So who knows, it may finally be my last visit to La Voile but it was a good one.

The director of this restaurant has decided to pluck up young kids off the road and to put them in charge of a restaurant that charged exorbitant prices. We went for part of the vegetarian menu and a plate of tomatoes will set you back €35. The wine list is half decent but the mark up on local wines is 4 times (Minuty Rouge et Or).As to the service, the young lady in charge of the room was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, which is unfortunate but not be shared with customers on a Saturday night. The sommelier insisted on filling our wine glaces to the rim, which might be acceptable at Pizza Pino, but not in this kind of establishment. Credit only to the young Italian waiter who tried to save the day, despite being repeatedly told off by the suicidal chef the rang. Places like this one are a joke and should only be booked for demonstration of the worst France has to offer.Avoid or pay the price of incompetence

From the moment you arrive you are in a different world. This rooftop restaurant with splendid views of the coast matches the setting with wonderful Japanese cooking. Plates of sushi, sashimi, dorade, carpaccio of beef, tempura shrimp, black cod, chicken, topped with a cheese cake dessert. Each course well served and making you want more.
