This lab is horrible. I can't even believe the service of this place. I checked in for my appointment via the link that texts you when it's your turn so that you can wait in your car. I checked in on time, and after sitting in my car for 30 minutes without a text, I decided to go in. I informed the woman at the check in counter that it was over 30 minutes past my appointment time. She asked to see my paperwork, added my information into the system (wrongfully) and said they would take me back soon. I waited a few minutes, and was taken back for my blood work about 45 minutes past my appointment time. The nurse asked to verify my name and DOB, which I did, and she proceeded to draw my blood....
First off this places charges you for parking. And the longer you are there, the more expensive the parking. And the wait is always long. So your only other option is to park at what used to be laguna hills mall and then walk over. Aside from that, they never ever answer the phone. But let 's be honest, this is true of all labcorp locations. Can 't they pay someone to actually pick up the phone? Bad bad bad service. And most importantly, the people working here can 't find a vein. They could not take my blood. This restaurant review does not have any stars. I had a difficult experience at this establishment today. My mother had an appointment at 2pm for pre-op bloodwork for an emergency surgery. She is unable to walk until the surgery is completed. The entrance was hard to find with no signs, and it was located directly in front of the OC Bus stop, which made it difficult to access. The phone line rang with no answer, and leaving a voicemail did not result in a call back. When I finally found the location, the doors were closed with signs indicating their lunch hours. I took my mom to the Laguna Hills location yesterday because the Rancho Santa Margarita location was unexpectedly closed. We had to drive there last minute without her walker in order to get her blood draw before they closed. When we arrived, there was no one in the waiting room. However, despite being there first, we ended up waiting over 35 minutes while others who arrived later were called in ahead of us. I eventually had to speak up and express my displeasure with the situation. The staff apologized and we were seen shortly after. NO STAR! This facility should be shut down! Last week my husband had blood work done at this Labcorp and had to have more blood work done again today. His appointment was booked online and when he arrived he was told Labcorp does not accept his insurance. Our insurance had already received and paid Labcorp last claim! The staff should be aware of which health insurances are accepted. Front staff is extremely incompetent, rude and unhelpful and in addition the place is unsanitary. From now on we will be going to Quest. Hopefully someone who actually cares will address this unacceptable situation and incompetent behavior and do something about it.
I came here for a drug test. I tried two other places before finding this clinic in Laguna Hills. The Mission Viejo clinic was temporarily closed, and the Aliso Viejo clinic was difficult to locate despite following my GPS. The third try was successful, as it was easier to find and had plenty of parking spaces. The only downside was that parking cost $1.00 for every 30 minutes, with a charge of $2.00 for over 30 minutes but less than an hour. While it's a small fee, it's still annoying to have to pay for parking. Make sure to park outside to avoid the fees, and avoid the parking structure area.
Check in kiosk easy. Staff nice. That's it. Only 8 other patients in waiting room when I arrived at 8:30. After an hour they said I was next when I asked. 15 minutes later brought back. 20 minutes later still sitting in phlebotomy chair. I think they have one person drawing all the blood. Ridiculous for a busy time of day!!!
No one likes going to get lab work done, let's be honest. This Labcorp was clean and bright, and the staff was kind. I walked in, signed in on the kiosk, and only waited for maybe about 5-10 minutes. The phlebotomist was able to get my blood drawn after one try. It was only slightly painful, but overall was smooth.

I strongly recommend an appointment if possible. It took almost 4 weeks to get the appointment because we were fasting and wanted early morning but we were in and out of there in 15 minutes. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the technician was friendly and competent.
Doctors office sent 2 samples to labcorp. 1 was thrown away and one was lost in a matter of 2 weeks! What the heck kind of lab is this. Where is the quality control and oversight on your tests. This company is awful and I am so upset and frustrated
