We kept returning to L'Abri Cotier over our 2 week stay in Les Issambres, it was a wonderful family restaurant with an extensive menu at great prices. The views of the marina and coastline are wonderful. Our favourite dishes were the moules mariniere (starter or...main) and the petite friture (a starter). The plats du jour were also excellent and changed a few times over our stay, including both fish and meat options.
Not a year goes by without a number of visits to this resteraunt. Always friendly service, good fresh food, well presented and a reasonable price. We had lunch here on Thursday 16th August 2018. We both chose one of the two plat du jour €14....Fresh cod and a simple mixed grill. Both were perfect. We followed with one cafe Gourmand €7.50 and a Dame Blanche €7. Both excellent. We will of course return.
we were a loud group of 40 people who had come from a local boule competition and we experienced some of the best hospitable in france. the personal was excellent smiling cheerful and tolerant. the food that was good and fresh was served without long delays. the owner was very relaxed and friendly. many thanks once again that they give us all a great experience.
visit l’abri-cotier for a few years and always great for a casual lunch or dinner with a papagei for entertainment. today's lunch was great. how much first-class seafood could they get for e20? lachs, kabeljau, crevettes, muscheln, kachelen, scallops! choucroute royale, fabulous! the personal is as always very. definitiw to increase their game. Nice setting, nice menu, friendly staff. Service lengthy at times despite not being too busy. The food was good but the presentation could have been better. Not sure how hygienic it is for the waitress to carry the knives in her jeans back pocket and...to hand cutlery over holding the tip instead of the handle.
This is one of our dependable restaurants no frills but good food at a good price what more could you want. Great staff and owner who always makes you feel welcome Great for a cocktail or glass of wine overlooking the marina Perfect
Ate here a couple of evenings. The food is reasonable but the staff are some of the friendliest and helpful,and most welcoming, especially the owner with his pet parakeet, we experienced in the area.

Quality and price are full aligned. Nice service. No Chichi, just good meal as at home. Without the Stress if you have to cook yourself.
