"The title says it all. The location on a sunny day to sit outside and enjoy the ambience is what its all about. Prices are high you pay for the location and the set price menu is affordable but you get what you pay for. A la carte you can eat well with a decent wine for 50eu a head not the 19 eu menu though."

Service and view were great but the food was truly awful. Everything tasted like it had been cooked on a very unclean grill. The steak was literally 'as tough as old boots', the cod inedible. The chicken was as average as a chicken dish could be and the sea bass had some weird congealed bits on the skin (although it was the best dish of the four). Didn't stay for desert and the bill for 4 without wine still came to well over €100. The strip it's on is a little touristy and while the view is great I suggest only coming for a drink and to watch the boats bob around in the old port. There must be better food along the strip in one of the many restaurants but go into the backstreets if you want good food.

We had lunch here - local speciality Moules & Frites - it was delicious. Staff were very attentive and efficient, as this restaurant is on a very busy thoroughfare, so they try to move people on quickly, but they didn't rush us at all. Beautiful setting overlooking the harbour and great place to people watch and relax. We ate at midday in order to get a table. It was full by 12.15. Lovely lunch break - we would definitely go back.

When we planned our visit to Honfleur we wanted to captrue the warm sunny feeling of Monet's paintings and this little cafe, right on the waterfront gave us exactly that. My husband had delicious mussels and I had fish soup. Both were delicious. Our server was very friendly, efficient and did not rush us, as we wanted to stay and drink it all in. We got exactly the experience we wanted here in this sweet fishing village.

Given our poor judgement of, for once, choosing our lunch place for ambience instead of previous visitors records, we had a late lunch here. Poor food. Poor kitchen skills. Poor ingredients. What a disappointment. Langoustines were not fresh, choucroute witch tasted like old mans finger, don't get me started on the gambas. Avoid!
