A disappointing experience with rude pool staff and poor facilities I recently stayed at this campsite and unfortunately my experience did not live up to my expectations. The main reason for my disappointment was the unpleasant behavior of the pool staff. Their unwelcoming attitude and lack of professionalism significantly tarnished my stay. In addition to the rude staff, I was disappointed with the quality of the facilities. The premises were in poor condition and poorly maintained. Showers were often dirty and smelly, which added to my discomfort. As a camper, I expected this establishment to provide quality services and a pleasant environment to relax. Unfortunately, this was not the case...

This campsite is divided into 2 parts, old side and new side, we spent our stay in the old part. The old side is super abandoned and has put everything on the new side. negative points: sanitary facilities clean with a water jet, flush which rarely works, leaking faucet, pitches with protruding branches, difficult with a large caravan, lack of play for children, burnt out sanitary lighting and barbecue permitted in drought (anything) positive point: spacious location, rather lit paths, outdoor swimming pool (quite old) but functional and super pleasant, hot shower water as well as dishwashing sinks, etc.
Very bad experience, I called to reserve, they told me they had availability, they asked me for information by email, logical! The reservation was delayed and then they came to me with the story that they no longer had room, we need to be informal!!!! To avoid, little formality'!! Truly disappointed! What a pity. We've had crazy sunshine and temperatures for a month and the restaurant is closed!! There are people everywhere walking around and people go to buy their meals elsewhere to eat them in front of the campsite facing the lake. What a loss of earnings... Fortunately there is Orée du Bois in Chateauneuf which has understood everything. They are full for lunch and dinner and with a smile. Thanks to them
