Lac de Sagnat - Reserva de mesa

We found our way to this lovely old hotel and restaurant when the hotel we were staying at in the nearby village wasn't serving dinner until 7:30pm. It was 5pm and after 30 some hours of travelling we were too tired and starved to wait that long. We asked a local who told us that Hotel du Lac on Lac Sagnat was a 5 minute drive from our hotel.When we arrived , we were the only people there. We sat at a table with a 360 view of the beautiful lake. The owner was an English woman and her husband. We ordered the 3 course menu that included your choice of various offerings. We have visited the restaurant twice now, with different friends each time. The welcome is very friendly and the owners Karen and Derek are extremely helpful and the food is excellent, with generous portions to boot! It is a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere with great views over Lac de Sagnat. We would highly recommend this as a place to enjoy a great meal.

A deux pas de l'autoroute, une excellente adresse à retenir, pour bien se ressourcer. Très beau cadre champêtre, au bord d'un joli lac. Un accueil exceptionnellement chaleureux et efficace. Menu de soir à 16€, copieux et bon. Quoi désirer de plus pour une pause au milieu du voyage ?

Menu du jour 12,50 . Salade composée plat du jour où steak ou jambon ou omelette et frites suivi de tarte ou glace. Très propre et bon accueil très souriant. Et anglais parle ! En prime joli ballade tranquille au bord du lac. Jeux pour enfants et plage. Reserva una mesa ahora

We stumbled on this place when google maps diverted us off the A20 due to traffic. Really nice pub-like food, Great alternative to Service station lunch. Stunning setting and views...

Have walked round lake many times. Excellent family beach, pedalos in summer etc. Campsite and snacks/ meals in summer. Great to gather chestnuts and see autumn leaves in season

petit lac sympa eau un peu froide mais propre :) c est une riviere qui y passe . petite plage de sable

This little hole in the wall diner had excellent food.
