Lac Et Forêt - Reservar una mesa

We were expecting a lot of Lake and Forest. The food was very good, though too expensive. Especially the service has disappointed us. We arrived a little early and we were told that the restaurant was not ready yet. Fully understandable, but when we offered to have a drink on the beautiful sunny terrace, the waitress reacted roughly. During our meal, it got worse: we were sitting behind a pillar and flowers so that the servers couldn't see us. When our wine glasses were empty, they didn't take them. As dessert, I ordered a selection of cheeses, but I had no explanation. When I asked, the waiter just told me the names of the cheeses without more information. As he wore his facial mask (just opening his mouth), the names he marmonized were not even comprehensible. My girlfriend ordered a chamomile tea and had to wait 20 minutes for that. In addition, an entry was included on our invoice that we did not order. The attitude of the waitress and waitress bore us all night. Finally, there were many people inside: the children were running in the room as if it were a kindergarten. We went there to celebrate the last evening in St André, due to the incredible gourmet reputation of the restaurant. Last but not least, it was very crowded inside: kids were running trough the room as if it was a kindergarten. We went here to celebrate the last evening in St André, because of the restaurant's amazing gastronomic reputation. Sadly, we didn't enjoy it at all, especially compared to the other restaurants in St André...

Nothing to say about dishes, tasty and rather hearty. However, the service is very disappointing. The waiter did not accompany us at our table, he only showed us a sign of the hand, on the other end of the restaurant. He was not at all present or attentive and spent his time discussing and tasting wine with what seemed to be his friends. He didn't make us taste the wine we chose.

Excellent table, I'll go back as soon as I can. The leader deserves a maximum rating. The service was perfect, discreet and effective. But let her surprise in this village. The notes given for the kitchen are very lower than quality and merit. And I'm tough. Thank you to the team that I wish them a long way.
