Lady Di's Shamrock

We called ahead before going because we did have a large group they said they don't take reservations but would put our name down but it shouldn't take long. When we got there we let them know we where there and again they said it wouldn't be long. They took several tables before us that were around the same amount of people who arived after us. After an hour of waiting we decided they just weren't going to serve us so we left.

Today must of been a bad day for them because I normally have good service. But we sat for 10 min before the waitress came over and that was just for our drinks. Then our food was just warm, not hot. My potato skins was lacking in potato as well as over cooked. The kids food was decent they said. We was not asked for refills for our drinks either. So only 2 stars today.

This is one of the preeminent restaurants of Saint Francois County. It's been around forever, and has iconic dishes such as hot wings, prime rib, and fried green beans. They recently moved into a new building that can accommodate more people, but still kept their ambiance and quality of food service. Would rate 7/5 stars if I could!!

I don’t know why anyone would willingly eat here. Nothing is made fresh, frozen, reheated low quality food. Workers and building itself left a lot to be desired. I’m sorry but it’s a hard pass every time at this point.

We thought food was very good and reasonable. We had wings, burgers, and a steak sandwich, salad, under $30 and very good. The raspberry dressing was awesome
