Lagan Indian Tapas

We were enticed into the new restaurant in Nottingham by the very affable owner and the lure of a 25% discount voucher for the opening night. We were very impressed by the decor and the three starters were beautiful. Unfortunately that’s didn’t continue as the restaurant got fuller . We sat for over an hour waiting for the next course and noticed that no one else had food either. Obviously the kitchen couldn’t cope with the numbers of diners. We reluctantly asked to have our bill and pay for what we had eaten, which was such a shame as the food that did eventually get served to other diners looked lovely. Hopefully the service will improve as the trade settles down but with the Christmas sea...

I visited this restaurant for the first time on Thursday evening and was impressed by the attentive staff and excellent service. My companions and I decided to order 6 tapas dishes and a rice to share. We started with popadoms, which were delicious. The dishes came out quickly, accompanied by a mint and a darker sauce that I couldn't identify. The highlights were the Paneer cheese, veg kofta, and malai chicken. The lamb was a bit disappointing, but if you're looking for something with more sauce, I would recommend ordering a curry as well.

My colleague and myself supported 3 gentleman to visit Lagan this evening and we were given a really warm welcome and the staff were very patient with us and tended to all our needs. The food was amazing and very well presented. They were also very polite and professional at the end of the meal as we had to pay individually which was very time consuming for the staff. So well Lagan you have your service just right and we will definitely be back and we will also recommend your restaurant.

Another amazing food delivery and amazing food. We order quite a lot from you guys there it has never let us down. Don’t think you could find any fault with this place myself and family enjoy our Lagan food every time full of flavour, hot, tasty, enough food, high quality, amazing people will order again and again and again. This restaurant is lovely with attentive staff. We enjoyed all three different starters. The main courses were good but could use a bit more meat. Overall, it was very good but a bit expensive. I would definitely return. By the way, the restroom door needs a lock!

The entire establishment appeared chaotic. The food was bland and not up to restaurant standards. Overall, it was disappointing. I likely wouldn't return.

The food was delicious as always, and they really made a fuss of my mum for her birthday. I love their pisatccio lassi!
