We called 20 minutes in advance and they still had a table for us, so after a small walk threw town we made it to their terrase in the quiet little street where they are located. Apetizer was a baby-squid with salad, main dish were kidneys with some steemed vegetables and to end that we had a plate of cheese (brie de meaux, compté 2 yrs, Saint-Nectaire 4months). The whole dinnner was very enjoyable. The waiter (and probably co-owner, I 'm not sure) an excellent host! The wine with the apetier a very nice Montgilet (white, 2012) and with the main course it was a Petite Syrah (Cevennes, 2013). Affordable and nice. My guess is you will not be dissapointed if you book a table here.
Very small restaurant. As you walk in you realise the guy behind the counter is the chef and the space behind the counter is the kitchen! There's only one other staff member. This means, not a place to go for a fast meal! But a wide range of wines by the glass or bottle helped pass the time and the food was excellent when it arrived. If I understand their motto correctly the idea is good local produce (all suppliers listed on a blackboard! presented on your plate with minimal intervention. We'll be back!
from the fact home it should be the rule of all restaurants it is the minimum union in all cases here it is excellent and a ratio quality price very correct euros on the midi with the menu of the dish day dessert it works the bottles of wine even organic at a very correct price (a field of organic saumurigny the coffee to euroserver pleasant it is good well presented, fresh and with the work in the kitchencontinuing on this way and not abandoning all
We came upon the restaurant by chance and found it welcoming and good value. We had only one course, just missing out on the last of the coquilles St Jacques which looked excellent but we're not disappointed by the halibut which was beautifully cooked and served with lovely fresh vegetables. Good value local rosé.
