$5 steak and fries on Wednesdays is the best! Although you will want to plan on having to wait for up to an hour for a table. But they will take down your phone number and call you when the table is ready if you want to walk around the lake forest park mall. The manager of this restaurant was awesome and checked in with us several times to ensure we had everything we needed. I like that lake forest park bar and grill has more room them greenlake and eastlake bar and grill. The last comment I want to make is that I thought it was strange that they have tables literally right next to the front door and reception desk. The website says it's only open one day a week....Friday 4-7 I was in front of a very dark Lake Forest Park grill Friday Jan 8th at 5:15 for some take out. Very irritated! I never heard back from a call I made also while in front of thos restaurant last week. Please update your website. Ive been patronizing this restaurant for years and even during the pandemic, but I may be finding a new place UPDATE 1/11. I was contacted by the owner who thought he updated all the sites that gave info on all Neighborhood Grills. The one I used was Google and Facebook and both were wrong. We had dinner with four adults and two children at a nearby restaurant, and we were excited to give it a try since it was within walking distance from our house. We decided to sit on the terrace, which had a lovely atmosphere. The hostess greeted us warmly and was very attentive throughout our meal. The fish and chips were excellent, as was the pulled pork mac and cheese. However, the burger was rather unimpressive. The drink menu offered a nice selection, and there was beer on tap. Our only minor issues were that we had to ask for napkins, and the food took longer to arrive than we expected for a Monday evening. Overall, we definitely plan to return!

Once we were settled, the host took the time to explain their soup and special menu, which features a variety of amazing burgers—who doesn't love a good burger? We ordered the Bamb Burger, and it did not disappoint! The bun was incredibly soft, and the fries were perfectly seasoned. I was too full for dessert, which was a bit of a bummer. This place is awesome. Great staff, great food. Love the atmosphere. The bar is really cool too. The management works really hard to make sure you are happy with everything. On a side note, the bar manager is super hot. Definitely going to be a regular spot for me and my friends.

Now (October 2020) the menu is limited and the bar area is closed, but drinks can be ordered at your table. They have taken excellent Coronavirus precautions and we felt comfortable eating here. Food and service was EXCELLENT.

It's always enjoyable to visit my favorite local spot and grab a pint-sized meal. The consistency is great, and I really appreciate the gluten-free vegetarian options they provide.
