Great place with a real good atmosphere. seated quickly and were fortunate to get a table outside near the sidewalk. Overhead doors all open up so everyone gets that outdoor feeling and out of the sun if you so desire. All outside tables have adjustable umbrellas so you can adjust how much sunshine you like. Server was very prompt and was very knowledgeable of the menu and the assortment of their handcrafted beer selection. We had the mussels and fries and they were bang on. I ordered the beer sampler and told the waiter what I liked and what I didn't and he brought me 5 sample glasses, they were all good. As craft breweries and their companion pubs and restaurants have become all the rage, it becomes harder to find the really good ones. Lake of the Woods Brewing Company is one of the best I have sampled in a while. Besides an excellent range of beers and ales, Lake of the Woods offers an extensive menu of hearty, tasty pub food. Service is fast, friendly and knowledgeable, even during a very busy lunchtime. Avoid this place! I requested gluten-free fish tacos on gluten-free tortillas and the server initially said it was possible. However, when I inquired about the fish being battered, she admitted it wasn't gluten-free. I then asked if the fish could be simply fried in a pan without batter, but the kitchen refused. The server suggested I try the Cajun jerk chicken instead. Despite my reluctance, I ordered it due to hunger, but found it too spicy to eat. Looking back, it's clear that this restaurant is not knowledgeable about celiac disease.

The food was ok and the service was good but because it was busy it was very very slow. We probably spent over two hours because of how busy it was. I do not blame the staff for this at all, they were running but I definitely think it's worth waiting until less busy times. Stopped here for lunch and to sample the beer. Ordered a beer flight (5 samples), there were lots of choices, I asked the server to choose for me based on my tastes. This was great as I got to try some beer that I likely wouldn't have otherwise. Had the shore lunch BLT with coleslaw, it was very good. The menu offers good variety, something for every taste.

This is the place to go for action. Always busy but offers a great place to sit outside and enjoy the sun. During the summer months waits can be quite long. Offers a gift shop and beer store as well.

the wedding party & guests met on the second floor room. We were served appetizers during the night ( good & various ) and a good bar service. staff all very professional

As a local, this is our Wednesday evening hang out. Always a great selection of craft beers and Wednesday they have a special 1/2 price mussels and wings.
