We went here for breakfast on Sunday morning around 10am; it was busy but we were greeted with a friendly smile and seated quickly. The coffee was excellent, and my boyfriend's son inhaled his chai latte (he is 8 so we won't give him coffee haha) and wanted another. We ordered the big breakfast and the portion size was epic; I shared with my boyfriend's son and we didn't finish. My poached eggs were overdone but not terribly, and this occurs at a lot of breakfast spots, but otherwise the food was fresh and tasty (the mushrooms on the big breakfast are really delicious). There is a decent childrens' menu too.We will definitely go back.
Hubby and l have been to the Cafe twice now and found this time around the Customer Service was A+ ... we know sooner got ourselves seated and sorted the waitress was ready to take our order, we were only going to have 2 lattes but l decided to have a cake to go with it, instead of looking at the menu l asked her what is available and she told me, l ordered a Orange and Poppy Seed Friand it was absolutely lovely with a side of cream yummo. The Lattes were excellent the best lve tasted in a long while in the area. Exceptional service and food worth a visit if you're in the area.
It's the first Tuesday in November. Luckily (for me), folks have other things to occupy their Melbourne Cup Day and I had no trouble finding a table at The Lake. It's not always this way, however, so previous visits have been rare. I started breakfast with a mug-sized cappuccino, then followed it down with multigrain toast and honey and muesli. There's seating both inside and out. This morning,much of it is unoccupied, but I suspect things won't stay that way. A winner!
Dropped by to get a quick coffee at the coffee van outside Safeway at Patterson Lakes shopping centre.(Friday 5th Feb) Pleasantly surprised. Coffee was great. Customer service was refreshing. Served by two young people(male and female), So nice to have a friendly face and manners. Noticed the restaurant is a few shops away so will be trying that next time. The restaurant offers friendly and attentive customer service, especially when ordering takeaway coffees. It has a cozy ambience and plenty of seating options both indoors and outdoors. The menu looks impressive, and I am excited to sample the variety of dishes available. The restaurant is licensed and also offers BYO with a corkage fee. There is ample parking and easy access from parking areas.
Stumbles across this amazing cafe and was definitely not disappointed. Menu was great with lots of variety and options to choose from. Food was fresh and the serving sizes were good.Staff were friendly and attentive to customers needs, making sure we were happy with our meal.Will be back again soon to try out the fruit frappe which looked amazing.
Went here to grab a takeaway coffee and egg and bacon sandwich. The price was what I expected for the area but the quality of coffee was superb as was the customer service and speed it all came out to me. Whilst waiting for my coffee, I saw the other tables getting their food and it looked amazing. I will be coming back here for a sit down meal.
We often stop by here for breakfast on the weekend. Friendly good service, nice food, reasonably priced. We can bring our small dog and sit outside. The wait staff always bring a small water container out without being asked. Very pleasant and consistently good.

My meal here was enjoyable and service was prompt. Lots to pick from on the menu. Only thing I can say is that it was quite noisy inside and hard to talk to each other , but sometimes that can't be helped.
Quality of food isn't what it was. Unfortunately. Used to really love coming here. Not any more. Same menu but changes in kitchen.
